Birthday weekend chaos, Strikes, and Gifts

So I left you all teetering on edge promising to update on the "activities" from my birthday dinner.

Venue: Maggiano's
Time: 8:15PM

So Jane and Rishi had organized all of our friends to come to Maggiano's for a birthday dinner extravaganza. Even Abizer flew in from NYC to make it for my birthday. How sweet. We all ate and drank, more of less enjoying the night thoroughly. If you haven't been to Maggiano's its a family style dinner where they keep on filling up your plate when it gets empty. So we all ate and ate and ate.. Some might have exploded, while others might have vomited but we all ate packing 16 containers of left-overs in the end.

Venue: Lucky Strike
Time: 12:00AM

After dinner, some went home while a bunch of us went to Lucky Strike bowling, or more commonly known as Jillians. We played pool and we also went bowling. At pool I played one game with my usual partner "hustler" and as usual we won. At bowling though my team wasn't that fortunate and we lost but that was because one teammate was too weak to pick up the ball, one was without his glasses so he couldn't see the pins, and that left two of us to support the team. Plus I am a crappy bowler since my arm gets tired after exactly 6 frames so we literally had one person hauling our team to the finish line. Or maybe it's because all the good players were on Rosh's team. hmm.. I wonder.

In addition to birthday party mayhem, my dad and brother came to Boston to visit since my mom is in India shopping for wedding tid bits and clothes. Alf, Sal, and Ab's parents also came to Beantown to party hearty for our 22nd birthday. How sweet. I might end up becoming diabetic by the end of this post...

Besides that.. Some memorable moments included:

Trojan Man riding away into the safety of the bushes.. (that came out quite sexual but then again so was the nickname Trojan man to begin with), camera's being broken, heads being broken trying to catch oven baked goldfish, MarioKart faceoff's and threats, our cab driver telling me I should drive instead since I told him to take Storrow Drive, and lastly watching the sunrise as we went to bed...

After the camera broke we started to use the Mac built in camera..

Just on a side note.. I miss my dog. Ugh. Woof.

Oh my god, I totally forgot to tell you what I got for my birthday..

I got a certificate to So Good jewelry (Which is awesome since I practically sleep there)

Gilmore Girls Season #6

Bose Headphones (Flippin amazing..)

and a movado watch

God, GG on CW, and Birthday wishes

Just thought I would update since its been eeeeek like 15 days.. Holy shit. I forgot I could curse on the world wide web. Reminder to self to use that option more often in times of peril and anguish.

I really would have updated sooner but I have been all over the place. I started an on-line fan fiction story. I know.. I know.. What a loser, but hey I love the show and I can piece nouns and verbs together so I figured why not? The fact that people read it never ceases to amaze me though. It's called "God and an Angel." I know, I know, but no its not a documentary on my life overseeing you mere peon's. Hmm sorry wrong IM. hehehe you know when you are talking on AIM and the person you are talking to sends you a random IM about someone else or maybe you. Nod your heads folks since I know all of you have gone through it. Sorry back to my on-line sensation.. Cough.. It's about Kasam Se the serial I rambled on about a few posts ago.

I was watching Gilmore Girls last night and ughhh is it just me or has Loreli lost all credibility as a decent human being.. Cough .. skank... Did you hear something.. hmm.. Must have been the wind. For those of you who don't watch the daily one hour brain cell massacre on CW Tuesday nights at 8 (where do I tune in... ? Hello..?) you aren't missing much. But if you want to learn how to break up your engagement with the sweetest man on earth, whose hair must have melted under his oxygen deprived baseball cap and sleep with Christopher, or how to break your engagement with Rory's English professor and run away to Europe, or ... Do you educated individuals get the hint. She's like Julia Roberts in Runaway Bride...

Ohh I almost forgot.. So today was the day I was born. I was taken out of my fluid refuge and literally expelled into the world. 45 minutes later in the real world, I was introduced to my arch nemesis from in the womb. She had kicked me around and tried to beat me up with her translucent fingers but I managed to apply an upper cut and tickle her with the umbilical cord. I have no idea where this story is going... Well to make the story more coherent. It's my 22nd birthday and along with me my twin sister Roshanee is celebrating. Thing #1 and Thing #2.

Well I shall update further when I get back from dinner with the "gang." Take care and no laughing at me while reading.. They took me off my medication ... Literally.

Call me when you are Sober

Goodmorning Boston,

Well it's 3:01AM and it's no surprise that I am still awake. I usually don't sleep until 4-5ish. So I still have some time.

So my weekend was fun. I went home to Jersey for a wedding. Is it just me or is everyone getting married or engaged. What have I started. The wedding ceremony was about 2 hours long and I think towards the end when I turned around no one was left in the hall. Can you imagine going through your wedding nuptials and turning to find an empty hall. Bummer right?? I would have ran away too but I was in the second row which would have been very obvious if I had gotten up. The reception was not without its highlights as well. Such as leeche martini's, Sachin singing "Dolce and Gabbana, Fendi and Madonna" in memory of Abizer's destroyed Dolce and Gabbana tie, Sethi being stared at, Shivani's impromptu speech, and Neal's thunderous clapping. Overall, it was a lot of fun even though the party itself could have been better planned and executed.

Another thing which has been on my mind as of late is the utter decline of one's self confidence when in a destructive relationship. (No not me, I am actually in a healthy relationship where I actually get confidence to be who I am) I am talking about one of my dear friends. Well once regarded as a dear friend. She has since severed all ties with us (the group of friends who used to hang out) since her current boyfriend has created havoc in her life. The funny thing is she blames us for not understanding. You guys tell me.. A) no trust in a relationship, is that my fault?? B) having no trust can only led to insecurities, no?? C) when eventually they change from insecurities to jealousy, the relationship will hang by its bare teeth D) how am I to blame for its eventual demise??

As a friend, you are the epitome of support, not to mention a constant in their lives. But when you are no longer needed but are instead discarded then why stand around for the abuse. You too move on and nourish relationships, which will one day bloom into a life long friendship.

My interpretation of a destructive relationship...

2/3 of American's don't have someone they can call a confidant. As a result they are succumbing to making their "partners" their confidant's ruining the balance between lover and friend. The burden simply gets too big to be everything to a person. Like my ceiling which finally erupted so will man one day.

Good bye Boston....... 3:26AM
